Shades of white and grey cushions

soft and snuggly.

Nothing’s better than curling up on a couch with a couple of cuddle-worthy cushions, enjoying the afternoon spending time with family and friends. Ok….there are things better but this is one of the top things!

Using different textures and contrasting shades of the same colour seems to be the winning look that I love.

Though I wouldn’t necessarily use these particular type of cushions, I think that the overall look it achieves is amazing. Sticking to the colour white, there are so many different shapes and textures here that would make me want to run my hand over each cushion. It is a very clean and simple even though there is a lot of detail. The only problem with white would be that you wouldn’t want anyone using one of these cushions as a pillow to rest their head. It would become dirty very quickly.

I love the way they have used the blue of the couch as the foundation colour and built upon it with the cushions using darker and lighter shades. The white cushion with the vine print running across the top is the cushion that makes it. It contrasts so well with the blue, providing different depths. If the pillow was plain, it might not have looked as good.

I love the texture of this cushion! The light grey colour and silk material only compliments it. You would only need just one highly detailed cushion like this to complete the look. Pleats of any kind on a cushion can only equal success.

This is a very vintage look. The freshness of the white bed cover with the deep, richness of the blues is striking. I love the different use of patterns. Though I wouldn’t personally have chosen the pillows used, it inspires me to not be afraid to mix and match a variety of patterns.

Birds are very in at the moment and how can you go past a cute bird cushion? Not sure if I would want a felt pillow, but birds are very cute!
